Famous Pakistani actors Hiba Bukhari and Arez Ahmed have finally spoken out against the pregnancy reports that have been going around on social media, denying that they are true.
In a recent show on their official YouTube channel, the couple talked about the problem honestly and said they were upset that fake news about celebrities is often spread just to get clicks and views. Some social media users and YouTubers twist their pictures and comments, which they said was wrong. They brought up the point that the rush for engagement hurts other people’s health.
People think that popular figures are immune to rumours like these, but Hiba and Arez both talked about how much they care about them. “People think that because we’re on TV, these rumours don’t bother us, but in reality, they scare us,” they said.
Arez joked that according to YouTube, they already have six to seven kids, which was a funny way to point out that the reports were not true. At the same time, Hiba vented her anger, saying that fake pregnancy rumours about her kept going around even though she had denied them before.
People who watch the couple and the media were told to be more aware of how false rumours can hurt people. They also asked people to be more responsible when talking about the personal lives of public figures.
