HOUSTON: Dania Zaheer, a 25-year-old Pakistani MBA student, was seriously hurt in a terrible car accident in Houston, USA. Dania, who was walking when she was hit by a car and is from Karachi, Pakistan, and the driver left the scene without checking on her.
In total, Dania has broken six bones and is currently in the hospital. She is going to have big surgery today, Friday, at a hospital in Houston. Dania was very sad and said that the accident had destroyed all of her hopes. This brought to light the pain and trauma she is feeling.
Aftab Chaudhry, the Consul General of Pakistan in Houston, and other members of the Pakistani community went to see her in the hospital and prayed for her quick recovery. They also promised her their full support during this trying time.
Ishaq Dar, who is Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, has also said that he is very sorry about what happened. He has told officials in Pakistan to help Dania Zaheer in any way they can. Her parents can come to the U.S. to be with their daughter, and the government has offered to help them do so.
Local and Pakistani officials are both looking into what happened and are working together to give Dania the help she needs and make sure she gets justice.
