Recently, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori met with two important people at the Governor’s House. These meetings showed how committed he is to education and welfare.
When Governor Tessori met with Mufti Abdul Rahim, the respected head of Jamia Tur Rasheed, he talked about how important it is for religious leaders to spread Islam’s principles. He told scholars that they should use their positions in the pulpit and the mihrab to spread Islamic ideals and principles. As Governor Tessori praised Jamia Tur Rasheed for its important contributions to higher education, he emphasized how important those contributions were. Mufti Abdul Rahim responded by giving the Governor great praise for his efforts and being hopeful about the good things that these efforts will bring about in the future.
Gov. Tessori also met with Maulana Bashir Farooq, who started the Saylani Welfare Trust. Governor Tessori stressed how important charity groups are as partners in helping the government reach its goals during their conversation. He praised Saylani Trust for the great work it does to help the poor and provide educational chances. Governor Tessori told Maulana Farooq that the Governor House would continue to back him and emphasized that the government was committed to working more closely with welfare groups. Maulana Bashir Farooq agreed that the IT classes that were made available through the Governor’s Initiative had been helpful. He said that they had helped create chances and a better future for young people.
Through these events, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori shows that he is still dedicated to improving education and welfare and working closely with religious and charitable leaders to make real changes in the community.
