Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar Increases Emergency and OPD Fees

PESHAWAR – The Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar has said that the fees for its emergency room and outpatient department (OPD) will go up.

Someone from the hospital said that the register fee for both emergency and outpatient department (OPD) services has gone up by Rs30, making it Rs50 now. The Board of Governors of the hospital agreed to this change.

The spokesperson stressed that the fee increase is important to make sure that the hospital’s operations are managed well. The biggest hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is Lady Reading Hospital, which was named after Lady Reading, who was married to Lord Reading, who was Viceroy of India. The hospital provides a wide range of medical services.

Every day, hundreds of people go to the outpatient centre, and over 2,000 people go to the Accidents and Emergency Department. The fee increase is meant to help the hospital keep up its high levels of care and smooth running.
