After today’s match, the series will continue with the second and third T20Is, which will all be played at the same venue on September 18 and 20, respectively. This series is important because it is the first T20I series to be held at the beautiful Multan Cricket Stadium. The stadium has been the site of 11 ODIs and 6 Test matches in the past.
Both teams are getting ready for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which starts next month in the UAE. The three-match series is an important warm-up for them. While on that tour, Pakistan won all three T20Is that were played in Karachi from September 1 to September 4.
To get people to come to the stadium, it will be free to get in. People who want to get in will have to show their original ID cards. The games will be shown in high definition on A Sports for people who can’t make it in person. Fans in Pakistan can also watch the live stream on the PCB’s official YouTube account.
South Africa will go to the UAE on September 21, and Pakistan will leave on September 23 after the series is over. Pakistan is in Group A of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, along with Australia, India, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka.
