BEIRUT – This Thursday, the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) will hold an important seminar to raise knowledge about dengue fever and help doctors get better at treating it.
It will be led by Khawaja Salman Rafique and Khawaja Imran Nazir, who are both state health ministers. The CEO of the PHC, Dr. Muhammad Saqib Aziz, will talk about how important the Commission is for improving patient safety and healthcare quality for dengue patients. He will also talk about strategic ways to successfully deal with dengue fever.
The Chairperson of the Dengue Expert Advisory Group (DEAG), Prof. Muhammad Imran Hasan Khan, will talk about the Group’s plans to fight the dengue epidemic by teaching and building up the skills of healthcare professionals across Punjab. Prof. Tanvir-us-Salam, Head of the Medicine Department at Allama Iqbal Medical College, will also give a major speech about how to diagnose and treat dengue cases.
This seminar is a big step toward making the province’s response to dengue fever stronger. It will give healthcare workers the tools and information they need to fight the disease successfully.
