Sukkur IBA University Launches CSS Scholarship Program

With help from the District Council, Sukkur IBA University launched its CSS Scholarship Program today with a ceremony in the main hall of the university. Many important people, such as Chairman of the District Council Syed Kumail Hyder Shah, Sukkur Commissioner Fayaz Hussain Abbasi, DIGP Sukkur Pir Muhammad Shah, and Vice Chancellor of Sukkur IBA University Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, joined the event.

Many people praised the grant program as a forward-thinking effort to encourage students to do their best in school. Syed Kumail Hyder Shah talked about how proud he was to work with them and how important the program was. Shah said, “This project is very important to me personally.” He also said, “Even if just one student passes the CSS exam, it will show that all of our hard work was worth it.”

Fayaz Hussain Abbasi said that the grant program would last a lifetime and save lives. “We must do extraordinary things to make sure a better future for the next generations,” he said, emphasizing how the program could change the lives of kids.

DIGP Pir Muhammad Shah praised the work that Sukkur IBA University and the District Council did together and told students to work hard to succeed and help the country. He told the kids, “What goes around, comes around,” as an example of how to be a good person.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Asif Ahmed Shaikh told the people there that money problems would not stop any student from making progress. He said, “We are committed to supporting every student,” which showed that the university was serious about making education accessible to everyone.

There were also Pro Vice Chancellors Prof. Dr Syed Mir Muhammad Shah and Prof. Dr M. Abdul Rehman Soomrani at the event, as well as Prof. Ghulam Hussain Mangarhar, Director of the Executive Development Center, and Prof. Dr Altaf Hussain Samu. Students and their parents both said how grateful they were for the help that Sukkur IBA University and the District Council had given them in planning their future jobs.

After a tough selection process that included tests and interviews, 83 students have been chosen for this merit- and need-based grant program. The grant pays for tuition, and books, and gives students a monthly stipend to help them make ends meet. The goal is to give students all the help they need while they are in school.
